About Us
We are the Michie family (pronounced Mickey) – James, Adrienne and our two sons, George and Alfie. We are based in picturesque Cornwall (where Adrienne can trace her ancestry back to the early 1600s), having moved from Kent in 2016. Before becoming raw food manufacturers, we were devoted and successful dog breeders. Throughout the breeding programme, we always looked for a complete raw dog food with a well-researched nutritional value that would cater even better for our puppies, breeding mums and working dogs, but had limited success.
We no longer breed dogs but are still loving dog owners of Bonnie and Bella and therefore decided to make our own truly complete raw dog food. This was how Michie’s of Cornwall began!

As Fit As A Butchers Dog
There is a well-known saying "As Fit As A Butchers Dog", and our dogs are proof that it’s true! They are both thriving on our complete raw food and James was a butcher’s boy from the age of 13!
When we rescued Bonnie she was quite unwell but within a few weeks of eating Michie’s meals the transformation became very clear. Firstly, we noticed a positive change in her behaviour, her energy levels improved, and her sleeping patterns became more consistent. She also has much better breath, her coat is glossier and her stools are a lot easier to clean up!
Our baby Bella was weaned on Michie’s and as you can see, she’s growing into a gorgeous, healthy dog.
80/10/10 and beyond
Over the last few years, we have introduced new ranges of raw foods including 80/10/10, single proteins, offal and most recently, raw cat food to ensure that there is something for everyone. All of our raw food is made using human grade meat.
